The Club is conducting an Intermediate Play Tournament on Saturday, January 19th
We need to build some experience at hosting tournaments so we are going to start with one skill level. Since "intermediate" represents the largest segment of our membership, we want to start there. Once we have success at the intermediate level, we will expand to other skill levels.
We are asking for members who play during the Intermediate times slots to participate and the members who play in Advanced and Beginner time slots to assist at the tournament; specifically using club play vs. skill level ratings for participation. We would like our Advanced players to assist with running the tournament: keeping score, refereeing, being line judges for medal rounds. We would like our Beginner players to come, watch tournament play in action and assist the Advanced players and the tournament coordinators as needed. We will use all 7 courts to accommodate 28 men and 28 women in a mixed-round-robin schedule. A $10 entry fee will be charged to provide tournament support and refreshments.
